Né en France au début des années 1990 d’une famille napolitaine, il découvre le graffiti adolescent dans les friches ferroviaires et les périphéries urbaines. Il signe d’abord NERO, avant d’abandonner ce nom pour RATURE après plusieurs arrestations et une période plus radicale de sa vie. Son travail mêle alors lettering agressif, figures religieuses détournées et iconographie nocturne.
Au milieu des années 2010, il quitte la France pour la Colombie. Après plusieurs voyages entre Bogotá et Medellín, il s’installe durablement dans la Comuna 13 où il apprend le tatouage auprès d’artistes locaux avant d’ouvrir son propre studio : Luz Interior Tattoo.
Dans le quartier, les habitants commencent à le surnommer Napoleón, à cause de son accent français, de sa manière de parler et de son attitude parfois distante. Le nom reste.
Son atelier devient progressivement un lieu hybride mêlant tatouage, musique, graffiti et ateliers pour les jeunes du quartier. En parallèle, il développe le projet musical Saturno 13, un univers de pérreo dirty sombre influencé autant par le reggaeton clandestin de Medellín que par les sonorités industrielles européennes.
Quelques années plus tard, il s’éloigne progressivement de la vie nocturne et de la ville pour rejoindre les hauts plateaux andins. Il vit désormais dans la région du páramo de Sumapaz où il travaille avec l’ONG Cumbres Blancas, engagée dans la protection des glaciers et des écosystèmes de montagne.

Born in France from a napolitan familly in the early 1990s, he discovered graffiti through abandoned rail yards and suburban walls. He first painted under the name « NERO », before abandoning it for « RATURE » after several arrests and a darker period of his life. His early work mixed aggressive lettering, distorted religious imagery, and nocturnal urban symbolism.
In the mid-2010s, he left France for Colombia. After traveling between Bogotá and Medellín, he eventually settled in Comuna 13, where he learned tattooing from local artists before opening his own studio, Luz Interior Tattoo.
People in the neighborhood started calling him « Napoleón » because of his French accent, formal way of speaking, and distant attitude. The nickname stayed.
His studio gradually became a hybrid space combining tattoo culture, graffiti, music, and workshops for local youth. At the same time, he launched the musical project Saturno 13, a dark dirty perreo project influenced by Medellín’s underground reggaeton scene and European industrial sounds.
A few years later, he slowly distanced himself from nightlife and urban chaos, moving into the Colombian highlands. He now lives near the Sumapaz páramo, where he works with Cumbres Blancas, dedicated to the protection of glaciers and mountain ecosystems.
